Fundamentals of a Successful Interview
You have already made a successful first impression with your résumé. Now, it's time to clinch your claim to the position.
Prior preparation is essential. Do your homework on both the job and the organisation. Interviewers look for interviewees who are enthusiastic about the organisation AND the position being offered. They like those candidates who have some general knowledge about what's going on in the world, particularly as it relates to the industry or profession.
You also must understand and be able to explain why this particular role is the job for you, and what you can do for the organisation. Employers say they look for people who want a career, not just a job, and have given some real thought into what they can bring to the organisation. Your TLCiTStaff consultants will be able to assist you by providing information about the organisation’s technical environment, and forthcoming projects etc.
